Qualified dividends are payments from issuers, both domestic and certain qualified foreign corporations, when investors purchase and hold their shares for a specified minimum period of time. To be eligible for qualified dividends, investors cannot maintain puts, calls, or short sales positions associated with the shares during the holding period. Manufactured dividends are earned when investors lend out shares. The payments are made by borrowers of securities over the duration of the borrow.

How does the Cache referral program work?

When you refer a friend to Cache and they enroll for the Cache Exchange Fund, we’ll waive management fees on $100,000 of your investments for one year. Each additional referral increases the amount managed for free.

What is a successful referral?

A referral is successful when an eligible friend signs up for the Cache Exchange Fund using your unique link completes the steps in the online enrollment and evaluates legitimately it for their portfolio. Their investment isn’t required—just their consideration. When they enroll, you both receive $100,000 in assets managed free for a year.

Is there a limit to the number of people I can refer to Cache?

No, there’s no limit. The more friends you refer, the more you can reduce management fees on your investments. If your accumulated discounts cover your entire portfolio, we’ll apply any unused discounts to the following year.

How do I refer someone to Cache?

How can I track my referrals?

You can view the status of your referrals and accumulated discounts in your Cache dashboard. We’ll also notify you via email when a friend successfully signs up.

What type of investments qualify for the management fee waiver?

The management fee waiver applies exclusively to assets held within the Cache Exchange Fund.

How soon is the fee waiver applied to my account?

The management fee waiver will be applied to your account within the next billing cycle after your referral is successful.

Can I refer my friends from outside of the United States?

Unfortunately, the referral program is available only to eligible investors within the United States.

What happens if my friend does not invest in the Cache Exchange Fund?

That’s perfectly fine—your referral will still be counted as long as your friend has a genuine interest in learning more about Cache and completes the sign-up process. 

What are “Most Wanted” stocks, and how do they affect my waived management fees?

"Most Wanted" stocks are select stocks that Cache seeks to add to its Exchange Fund to maintain a balanced portfolio. For referrals involving these stocks, we offer an increased management fee waiver—up to $200K per referral for stocks like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, or Tesla. This list of “Most Wanted” stocks may change periodically as our portfolio needs evolve, providing you with additional opportunities to maximize your referral rewards.
