Once your client's exchange fund contribution is complete, you can set up a data feed so their Cache Exchange Fund shares appear as a line item in their Schwab portfolio. The steps below walk through the process.

About one week after the contribution is complete, Cache provides a Subscription Confirmation to include with the transfer request. You can find it on the Documents page of your Cache advisor portal. A sample TOA form is available here: sample TOA form.

Schwab instructions

  1. Open a ticket through Schwab's Advisor Center.

Reference your client's fund name and NSCC ID:

    • Cache Exchange Fund – Unix, LLC

      • NSCC ID: 00001ACK24208001

    • Cache Exchange Fund – Bedrock, LLC

      • NSCC ID: 00001ACK25157001

    • Cache Exchange Fund – Mosaic, LLC

      • NSCC ID: 00001ACK25157002

    • Cache Exchange Fund – Fortran, LLC

    • Cache Exchange Fund I, LLC

Include the most recent copy of your client's Exchange Fund Subscription Confirmation (not the brokerage statement). Subscription Confirmations can be found on the Documents page of your Cache advisor portal about one week after the exchange fund contribution is complete.

  2. Complete Schwab's TOA form.

There is no CUSIP for the funds. Instead, reference the fund's SSID below on the TOA form. Please note that the client must sign the TOA.

      • SSID: 102405024

  3. Complete submission.

Once you've submitted everything, it will take Schwab approximately 6 weeks to process before your client's exchange fund shares are viewable at Schwab. A private fund reporting fee may apply; please check with Schwab for their current schedule of fees.
While you wait for Schwab to establish the data feed, you can use your performance software to create a placeholder, as described in the article below.
