Cache can arrange for investors to borrow against their shares in the exchange fund through banking partners. The terms of such loans, including interest rates and other charges, are typically determined based on prevailing market conditions at the time of the loan.

The specific terms, such as the interest rate spread, are often based on a benchmark index like the Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR) plus an additional margin, commonly around 200 basis points (or 2%).

If you don’t have a seven year time horizon for your investment and need liquidity sooner, our brokerage firm offers other products that may be a good fit. For example, our Collar Advance lets you borrow against your stock shares at rates that are typically lower than mortgage rates.

To assess your eligibility for our exchange fund, collar advance, or other Cache products, just tell us about your situation.
